Instead of paying a fixed fee, customers pay for what they use, whether that’s API calls, hours, seats, messages, storage, transactions, or any other measurable unit.

Quantity= A amount of usage * price per unit (ppu)

Volume = Within defined price volume gives you a price per unit * usage

Tiered= for all your usage you will pay a defined price per range * usage

How do I go from product setup to order activation?

  • Create a product type with any product functionality
  • Define a price list price and the product the exist in your product library.
  • Sell your subscriptions
  • Create a order with a account and product type usage.
  • On the order you then use the established price list price or create a custom price point and the activate the order

How do I upload usage?

  • Upload a CSV (use any identifier: custom field that the customer normally have that connects to the charge)
