Younium supports three usage calculation methods:

• Sum – Aggregates all usage during a billing period and applies the configured price.
• Average – Calculates the average usage over a billing period and applies the configured price.
• Max – Uses the highest recorded usage during a billing period and applies the configured price.

To support different business requirements, Younium also offers pre-processing rules that allow usage data to be transformed before pricing and billing calculations are applied.

Usage data can be imported manually in the Younium application, uploaded via CSV files using customer identifiers, or aggregated automatically through the Younium API.
